Grayson Rutherford, Managing Editor, The Bagpipe
I have worked on the Bagpipe since sophomore year. I started as a photographer, eventually becoming Editor of Photography as a junior. This year, I am the Managing Editor, tasked with ensuring all things Bagpipe run smoothly. In addition to newspaper, I'm President of the Model UN Club and VP of Young Democrats. I have played center field for the Varsity softball team for four years. Outside of school, I own/operate an online store that sells clothes called BeatUpBlues. It enjoys customers from 20 countries, earning upwards of 1,000 sales since June 2014. Music, film, and political satire are artistic interests of mine. I plan to continue my academic career by enrolling in a business program and minoring in Political Science. Eventually, I hope to work in marketing, education, or politics.
