Can they be stopped?

Undefeated. This is a word that isn’t used much in the sports world, and is used even less frequently in the NBA, yet it continues to be brought up in the 2015-2016 season. The Golden State Warriors remain undefeated with a 19-0 record as of Dec. 2.

Despite winning the NBA championship against LeBron James and company and holding one of the greatest players in the league, Stephen Curry, the Warriors still aren’t done. Even with all these accomplishments, they are still more driven than any other team in the league. Golden State is playing some of the best basketball this league has ever seen, posting more than 115 points per game and outscoring opponents by more than 15 points per game as well. Of course, the streak must come to an end at some point in the season, but how long can the Warriors keep up this amazing run?

Possibly the Cavaliers, who will face off against Golden State on Christmas Day, or another team under the radar, can break it off before then. Who knows; maybe the one-win 76ers can knock off Curry and the Warriors. No matter the length of the streak, the Warriors have already had an unbelievable season and are putting up monster numbers. Some say that this year’s Warriors have the best backcourt in history with Curry and Clay Thompson. These two may also contribute to shoot the highest three-point percentage for a team and the most threes by a team in a season. Curry just passed James in three pointers, despite playing more than five hundred fewer games.

Warriors fans and NBA fans hope to see the Warriors continue to have success and if they keep shooting like they have been, they will do just fine.
