Lady Scots volleyball keeps on winning
On Friday, Sept 25, the No. 3 nationally ranked Lady Scots varsity volleyball team dominated the North Mesquite Stallions in a decisive 3-0 win. Lead by Juniors Jordan Westendorff and Falyn Reaugh, the Lady Scots swiftly defeated the Stallions 25-8 in the first set of the evening. Round 2 was less one sided, but 6 scores off spikes by #9 Falyn Reaugh propelled the Lady Scots to a 25-16 win and a 2-0 lead in the match. Defeat came quickly to the Stallions again in the third set with scores from seven different Lady Scots contributing to a 25-11 win and yet another victory in their hunt for the #1 spot in Texas and the United States.
About the Contributors
Wyatt Hill, Staffer, HPHSMedia
I've attended HPISD schools for my entire academic career and I'm currently a Junior. Outside of HPHS Media I'm the president of the Students for Individual Rights club and I participate Academic Decathlon. When I'm not in school I devote most of my time to running, reading, shooting, gun smithing, and binging on Netflix. My goals as an HPHS staff member is to provide the student body with interesting stories they will look forward to every week and to give hard working students, whether they be athletes, musicians, or outstanding in the classroom, the recognition they deserve.

I am a new Junior to HP this year. I play 11 instruments, and I write my own music. I love photography, which I have pursued for the past few years. My favorite photographer is probably Paolo Roversi, and my favorite musician is probably Liz Harris.
