Lost in iPhone space
Different methods of creating space on your iPhone.
Sometimes it can be hard to have enough space on your phone for photos, videos, music, movies and all of the apps that are desired. Running out of space is a problem that everyone has encountered, and deleting photos, while effective, is not the only solution.
However, deleting photos and videos is a good place to start. Set aside some time to look through your camera roll and delete all of the pictures and videos that you either no longer need, or no longer want. It is also wise to delete duplicate photos, and keep the best of the bunch.
If you have already done this and still need space, delete the apps that apple automatically downloads on your phone that you do not need or use. According to apple, you have the option to delete Calculator, Calendar, Compass, Contacts, FaceTime, Find My Friends, Home, iBooks, iCloud Drive, iTunes Store, Mail, Maps, Music, News, Notes, Podcasts, Reminders, Stocks, Tips, Videos or TV, Voice Memos, Watch app and Weather (if you want one of these apps after deleting them, you can redownload them from the app store). Another way to free up space on your iPhone is by deleting games that you do not use often, because game softwares tend to take up a lot of space.
One setting that saves space on the iPhone is setting your text messages to delete after 30 days. To do this, you go to settings, then go to messages where you can scroll to see message history. Once you are there you can choose to have messages auto-delete after either one year or 30 days. After this is done, you can not un-delete the messages, but this will save you tons of space on your iPhone.
