Hillary Clinton linked to Russian Invesigation

For several months now, President Donald Trump has been under investigation by special investigator Robert Mueller as a result of accusations and evidence that his campaign colluded with Russia to interfere with the election and allow Trump to win the office in last year’s campaign. Recently, however, it seems Mueller’s straight shot hit the wrong target. It has recently been revealed that during the 2016 campaign, the Washington firm Fusion GPS was paid by a conservative outlet to investigate then-candidate Trump’s background and ties to Russia. The outlet, Washington Free Beacon, is funded by conservative billionaire Paul Singer, who did not respond to requests for comment. After Fusion GPS stopped receiving money from the Washington Free Beacon, they reached out to the Clinton campaign and offered to continue researching and digging up dirt on Trump.

According to the same source, Fusion GPS then hired Christopher Steele, an investigator with ties to the FBI, to compile a dossier with dirt on Trump. A spokesman for the Clinton campaign denied knowledge of this deal, stating that he learned of Steele’s efforts only after the election. It’s currently unknown how much the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee paid for the dossier, though Trump, in his tweet about the dossier cited a $12,000,000 figure.

“Never seen such Republican ANGER & UNITY as I have concerning the lack of investigation on Clinton made Fake Dossier (now $12,000,000?), the Uranium to Russia deal, the 33,000 plus deleted Emails, the Comey fix and so much more. Instead they look at phony Trump/Russia, ‘collusion,’ which doesn’t exist. The Dems are using this terrible (and bad for our country) Witch Hunt for evil politics, but the R’s are now fighting back like never before. There is so much GUILT by Democrats/Clinton, and now the facts are pouring out. DO SOMETHING!”

Trump is currently taking advantage of these allegations against the Clinton campaign to sweep the Mueller investigations under the rug. A federal grand jury in Washington recently approved the first charges in Mueller’s investigation, and Keith Schiller, one of Trump’s longtime associates, has been approved for questioning in the matter. Schiller was around for some of the key moments in Trump’s career, and it’s highly likely that Trump is concerned that something will be revealed that he doesn’t want. Analysts note that he may be trying to divert attention to the recent reveals with the Clinton campaign.
