Stranger Things Season Two

“Stranger Things” season two is now available on, and only on, Netflix. Originally the second season was to be released on Oct. 31, but the show ended up being released on Oct. 27. The second season of “Stranger Things” has nine episodes, one more episode then the first season. The first episode is entitled “MADMAX” and the finale is entitled “Chapter Nine: The Gate.”

The first episode of  season kicks off outside of in a big city car chase and introduces a new character named Kail, or Eight.Then back in Hawkins the four boys back and searching every where trying to find spare change for the arcade just to find out that a new mysterious character named MadMax had beatens their high score on Dig Dug by over 100,000 points.

The six new characters in this season are; Billy who is played by Dacre Montgomery, Max who is played by Sadie Sink, Bob Newby played by Sean Astin, Dr. Owens played by Paul Reiser, Murray Bauman played by Brett Gelman and Kail played by Linnea Berthelsen.

“I thought her character had a really cool backstory,” freshman Joshua Tijerina said about his favorite character, Kail.

Four of the returning characters got a lot of development during this season. These characters are Lucas Sinclair played by Caleb McLaughlin, Dustin Henderson played by Gaten Matarazzo, Steve Harrington played by Joe keery, and Jim Hopper played by David Harbour.

“He is always so cool and is like knows how to handle a situation,” freshmen Caleb Gruver said about his favorite character is Jim Hopper.

“Stranger Things” season two did not disappoint.

“The plot was a lot more intense and they really went into the characters backstories,” freshmen Joshua Tijerina said.

“Stranger Things” is a great show with a lot of interesting characters and a very nice 1980’s vibe. If you like TV show or movies that have sci-fi action comedy horror mystery and romain then your problems like stranger things it has a little bit of everything.
