Anyone interested in running for Student Council, there will be a mandatory meeting next tomorrow. The meetings will be in the auditorium at 7:30 AM and at 3:35. You MUST attend one of these meetings and you MUST be on time.
There is no prior experience needed. Only those running for Senior executive positions give speeches. Requirements include a 3 .0 GPA and a signed agreement by and your parents to abstain from drugs and alcohol, including not attending events with these activities.

The Men’s Varsity Soccer team defeated West Mesquite last Friday night with a score of 2-1. Nick Roostai and Duncan James scored the two goals with an assist by Houston Hyde.

Congratulations to the Lady Scots Track/Field Teams as they competed well at the McKinney Boyd Relays on Saturday. The Varsity Team placed 6th out of 19 teams. Falyn Reaugh placed 1st in the high jump, 2nd in the triple jump, and 5th in the 300 meter hurdles; the 4 x 100 meter shuttle hurdle relay placed 3rd – relay members were Falyn Reaugh, Grace Watts, Anastasia Helms, and Olivia Conner; the Distance Medley Relay placed 4th – team members were Olivia Scott, Grace Watts, Maddy Stephens, and Grace O’Keefe.
The JV team placed 4th out of 16 teams. The top competitors were Melenaite Pahulu, Allie Lavish, Brooke Foy, Jordyn Kaplan, Brynn Weakley, Julia Helton, Anna Garrett, Mary Warriner Kemp, Olivia Briggs, Gracyn Applegate, and Kristin Cowie.
The next meet for the Lady Scots will be the Coppell Relays on Saturday.
Can you say State Champions!
The Academic Decathlon Team are State Champions! The team competed in El Paso last week and broke the state meet record for most points scored!
The AcDec Team will now travel to Madison, Wisconsin to compete in the National Meet in April.
