Mandatory NHS Application Meeting for Juniors and Seniors.
Interested Juniors and Seniors: Please plan to attend one of the four sessions offered below.
Tuesday, January 17th
7:30 a.m. in Auditorium or 3:45 p.m. in EC104
OR
Wednesday, January 18th
7:30 a.m. in Auditorium or 3:45 p.m. in EC104
Late arrivals will not be admitted to meeting.
Scholastic and Service Requirements for applicants:
•Cumulative GPA of 3.60 at end of the previous semester immediately preceding the application process.
•Enrolled in at least four credit bearing subjects during the semester of application.
Completion of (and already registered in the CSC database) at least 30 of the service hours required for HPHS graduation

Students must stay the duration of the meeting. Please see Ms. Mallard or Mr. Meidenbauer if you have further questions regarding the application process.
This is NOT for current members, only Juniors and Seniors wishing to apply to NHS.

“The Latin Club will have a meeting Wednesday after school from 3:35 until 4:00 to discuss the upcoming Area C Competition and Certamen Competition. The fee for Area C is due this week to Magistra Caron. It is $20 and includes lunch.”

Last night, the Highland Park Girls and Boys Swimming and Diving teams competed in their last home and dual meet against Hockaday and St. Marks. The Scots claimed victory and beat both Hockaday with a score of 106 points to 79 points and the boys team outswam St. Marks 98 points to 72 points. Way to go scots! Swimmers of the meet were Victoria Taverna and Erling Rolseth. This meet was also the last home meet for our seniors this year and we would like to recognize them for achievements. The senior class being recognized included: Ashley Bush, Ali Garrett, Alexis Lundquist, Garbrielle Schirmer, Will Helmbrecht, Tommy King, Robby King, and Emerson Phipps.

The Varsity and JV Lady Scots came out on top last night against Royse City. This brings the Varsity to 6-0 in district play. Mary Margaret Roberts and Eve Loewe both had double figures in rebounds and points.
Keep it up Lady Scots!!

There are only 10 spaces remaining on the senior wall. If you want one you need to see Mrs Raya ASAP.
Today is the last day for seniors to paint their squares during 6th period and after school.
