Espumoso Cafe
On Friday March 25, I took a trip down to the Bishop Arts District to visit Espumoso Caffe. This shop is a Latin coffee shop known for its variety of empanadas. It is located across from Eno’s Pizza Tavern and close to Emporium Pies.
I ordered an iced caramel latte since it was a pretty sunny day. Unfortunately, I did not like this shop’s coffee. It had a taste I was not used to, so it may require an acquired taste. Plus, the caramel syrup was stuck at the bottom of the cup.
My favorite part about this cafe was the decor. There is a floor to ceiling window in the front with a couch to lounge on and people watch. Across from the bar where you order, there is a long table with colorful metal stools.
The service was just alright. There were not many baristas, so they had an odd method of filling one person’s order completely before moving on to the next.
Overall, my experience at Espumoso Caffe was not memorable. If you are in the Bishop Arts District looking for a good cup of coffee, I recommend the Wild Detectives, even though there are no flavored syrups to add to it.
