Method Coffee

On Sunday February 7 around 3 o’clock, I went to Method Coffee. It is located on Hall Street less than a mile from Central Expressway and is easy to spot since the name is written in huge, black letters on its white brick wall. There is also a small parking lot located along the wall as well as a few parallel parking spots along the front.

The menu is legible and is written on a chalkboard behind the counter. I ordered an iced vanilla latte, and loved it. It was rich in flavor and the only complaint I had was that there was not enough of it. The service at Method Coffee was impeccable. The barista took the time to describe what I needed to know about the choices of coffee available.

I loved the decor of Method Coffee. It was rustic comforting. One wall was bare brick, making the whole shop feel homey. There were couches in the front corner perfect for relaxing and chatting with friends. Although the shop as a whole was quiet, so chatting may disrupt those studying, which is what a majority of the people were there for.

My personal favorite aspect of Method Coffee is the pending coffee. You are able to purchase a cup of coffee that you do not consume yourself, but someone else receives that coffee if they ask for it. I appreciate how it shows humanity within us.

Overall, I liked the service, decor, and coffee of Method Coffee. Yet, the latest it stays open is 6pm, which is not ideal for studying. I recommend this shop if you want to study during the day or if you just need some peace and quiet while indulging in a cup of joe.
