Blue Apron Review 1/17
This week’s recipes were White Turkey Chili with Aged Cheddar Cheese & Blue Corn Tortilla Strips, and Spiced Pork & Winter Hash with Brussels Sprouts, Sweet Potatoes & Apple.
The Chili was delicious with a strong spice. The tortilla strips and cheese added a good base to the soup and it gave it some good texture. This did take a bit longer to make, but it was worth it. The turkey added a good flavor to the soup as well.
The pork was also very good. The hash was a great addition and was a good compliment to the mustard sauce on the pork. The apple all added a nice sweetness to the savory hash.

Max Pietruszewski, Staffer, HPHSMedia
I'm Max, and I am a Sophomore. This is my first year working on the HPHS Media staff, and this year I will be a Copy Editor. In my spare time I do things like cook, play Ultimate Frisbee and video games with my friends, help the poor, and take artsy pictures. This is my second year as a French Horn/Mellophone player the Highlander Band. I like to be on top of the latest trends in wrist wear and shoes, so I wouldn't be afraid to drop a couple bucks on a new bracelet or pair of Hi-Tops. I like to listen to EDM while I work, it helps me clear my mind. My favorite place is a small town called Williamstown in Northwestern Massachusetts. The reason I like it so much is because I am a veteran of a camp called Overland that is based there. This year I went for a service camp where I helped kids learn to read and I distributed food to the less fortunate. It was a really moving experience for me and I made a lot of friends that will be, in my heart, known as my second family.
