Corner Market Coffee

On Sunday January 3 at around 2 o’clock, I went to Lower Greenville to grab some coffee at the Corner Market. This market serves a variety of breakfast foods and lighter lunch options as well as coffee. connected to this little market is a small flower shop on one side, and a bakery on the other side.

I ordered a caramel latte, per usual, and sat at a small table in the corner. The latte was a great price considering its size, and it was warm and frothy and perfect for a cold day. My latte was sweeter than shops that solely focus on coffees, but I liked it.

My favorite part of the Corner Market was the layout. The tables were covered with colorful tiles, giving the shop a mediterranean vibe. Adjacent to the main shop serving the coffee, breakfast foods, a variety of drinks, and light lunch options, is a small flower shop. On the other side of the market is a little bakery. These shops are interconnected so you can walk to each of them from the inside, which is a neat concept.

If the Corner Market was closer to Highland Park, it would be an ideal lunch spot. Unfortunately, anything on Lower Greenville is possibly too tricky to reach if you have only one lunch period. It would be a nice place to study if you are not distracted easily, since there are huge windows on two sides of the market. The Corner Market closes at 8 o’clock pm, so late night studying is not an option.

I liked the location and aspects of the Corner Market. The coffee is great and the service is friendly without being over the top. This is a great place to go to catch up with friends or to enjoy a light meal. Overall, I would recommend the Corner Market.
