Volleyball Playoffs: HP Lady Scots vs Conroe Oak Ridge Lady War Eagles
The Lady Scots’ season came to an end on Friday as they fell in the regional semifinals to now state semifinalists, Conroe Oak Ridge, 3-1. Highland Park played their hearts out, but the very talented War Eagles proved to be too much for the Lady Scots. Leading scorers for Highland Park were juniors, Jordan Westendorff and Falyn Reaugh, with 12 and 14 scores, respectively. Westendorff and junior, Madeline Ngo contributed two services aces each. The set scores were 18-25, 25-22, 22-25, and 17-25.
Even though it came to a disappointing end, 2015 was the best year in Highland Park volleyball history. The Lady Scots finished with a best ever 43-7 record and hadn’t lost a game since August before Friday.
