Dear Readers,
We are very proud to present to you our 2024 Community Issue. As the holiday season arrives, it was both our and our staff’s focus to highlight the good done in our community, for our community.
This collection of stories spotlights a number of people and organizations, many of whom are our school’s very own students and staff . But these are not just stories. They are a beacon of hope within our community, and serve to remind us that together, we form a whole greater than the sum of its parts.
As the new year arrives, and with it, a measure of uncertainty, we strive to cover the topics that uplift our community and the people within it. Our hope is that by drawing attention to the good, we can find the strength to persevere, even amidst difficult times.
We would like to thank our advisor, reporters and editors for their tireless efforts to help create this issue. We are especially proud of our writers for taking on the task of writing the stories that matter, and showcasing what makes our community great.
Thank you so much for reading this edition of the Bagpipe. Your support is what makes our publication possible. We hope you enjoy this issue.
Sincerely,
Ellie Levy, Editor in Chief
Juliana Stimac, Executive Editor
