In my family, our special Christmas dessert is Christmas kitchen sink cookies. These cookies are baked with white chocolate chips, potato chips, and Christmas colored M&Ms and sprinkles.

We started this tradition a few years ago when my younger sister and I wanted to make something fun on Christmas Day, and we found a recipe that looked amazing on Pinterest. These Christmas kitchen sink cookies have stuck around as a staple in our family’s holiday recipes ever since.

These cookies are amazing. They not only look cute but they taste delicious too. The delightful balance of sweet and salty is exemplified by this cookie. The sweet taste of the M&Ms and white chocolate chips pairs nicely with the salty potato chip. The chewy inside of the cookie balances perfectly with the crunchy chips. The flavors of the toppings combined with the cookie blend in your mouth and create a glorious taste.

While baking, the cookies create a tantalizing aroma that can only be described as a perfect sugar cookie perfume, which gets the whole family excited to try them.

In terms of looks, these cookies do not disappoint. With the combination of the red and green M&Ms, sprinkles and the white chocolate chips, there is a color explosion on a cookie that is pleasing and enjoyable to look at.

Another great thing about these cookies is that they are simple to make. You basically make your standard chocolate chip cookies, which most people already know how to make, but just add more toppings for flavor and fun.
With the chaoticness of the Christmas season, it is convenient that these cookies require very little prep, baking and cleaning time.

They are the perfect dessert to bring to a holiday party, eat after Christmas dinner or even enjoy as a snack!

The most special part of the holidays is who you spend it with, making these cookies is a great holiday activity to do with the family, and then you can enjoy them after together.
