The Global Connections Program at the high school is excited to host 14 Taiwanese students at the end of this month; however, we are in desperate need of Host Families! If you are able to host a student or two, please contact Ms. Caron (one of the Latin teachers). Students will arrive Thursday, September 21^st, and depart Monday, October 2^nd – just eleven nights! -Thank you!

Attention All Seniors Who have Not Yet Ordered a Cap and Gown: If you are planning on attending the graduation ceremony in May, you will need a cap and gown.   Josten’s will be here on Monday, September 11,  during College Night to pick up any last minute orders.Please see our Josten’s rep that evening to place your order.

Seniors-reminder-counselors will be in the mini-lab during lunches today and tomorrow to assist you with linking your common application to Naviance. Remember, every senior must complete this task in order for a transcript to be sent.

Today is the final day of the Club Fair. There are 144 clubs, so there are many opportunities to get involved.

Tomorrow is the Scots first home football game so that means Howdy time.
Howdy dance tickets will be on sale tomorrow during all lunches. Get yours then to avoid the lines. Tickets are $10. Every student must have a ticket, even late comers involved with the football game.

Attention juniors and seniors wishing to apply for membership in the National Honor Society- Mandatory Application meetings will be held before and after school on both Wednesday, September 13^th and Thursday, September 14^th. The September 13^th morning meeting will start at 7:30am in room WC213 and the afternoon meeting will begin at 3:45pm in room C206. The September 14^th morning meeting will begin at 7:30am in the auditorium and the afternoon meeting will begin at 3:45pm in room C206. Students applying for NHS must attend ONE of these meetings. PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE- YOU WILL NOT BE ADMITTED. Current members DO NOT need to attend an application meeting. Please see Mr. Meidenbauer or Ms. Cassell if you have any questions.
