Good luck to the Lady Scots Track/Field Team as the team will be competing at the Tracy Wills Invitational at Germany Park tomorrow. The 3200 meter run begins at 7:45 a.m., the field events begin at 8:15, and the running finals begin at 1:00 p.m. The seniors will be honored at 12:30. Please come support your Lady Scots – it will be a great day!

The Men’s Varsity Soccer team advanced to the second round of the playoffs last night defeating Longview Pine Tree. Goals were scored by Duncan James, Jack Chapman, NIck Roostai, Bosco Moldonado and Jack Phipps.
Last night, during the first three events of the UIL Academic Meet, HPHS won first Place Team in Spelling, with a 3rd, 4th and 5th place win.
In Social Studies, Yash Pathak won 6th place.
In Ready Writing, Karen Chen placed 2nd.
Congratulations to all of the participants on Thursday night.
March Madness is ON!! A champion will be crowned, and you can decide the winner! Vote for your favorite champion book from the orange board outside the library to declare the winners from our Sweet Sixteen round to move on to the Elite 8. The tournament will continue until one book is declared the Book of the Year! Check the tournament board outside the library for voting details and contestants.
Seniors, the annual College Board is going up! To get represented on the senior board for 2017,you must sign up in the Library to indicate your college destination. The board is scheduled to be up for display in April, so get your info on the sheet in the library before the end of March and show your college some love!
“Attention NEHS members! The date for the last meeting of the year will be changed! Listen for announcements Monday next week. The date is changing to accommodate our speaker. The Buckner supplies drive will begin next Monday. Look for green fliers around the school and bring in supplies beginning next Monday to Dr. O’s room, C107.”
There will be a revote for Prom Court next week due to a few mix ups. Monday in the Student entrance come by and vote. Seniors only
