Come to the first CSC meeting of the year this Monday, August 29th, at 6pm in C105! There will be a guest speaker and therapy dogs! Check the fliers around the school for ways to earn service hours.

Congratulations to the Lady Scots Cross Country Team as the team competed very well at the Greenhill Relays on Saturday.  The top Varsity relay team placed 8^th out of 44 teams.  The relay team members were Sydney Cox, Olivia Scott, Stephanie Mara, and Julia Helton.  The other Varsity relay team placed 13^th.  The relay team members were Sophie Hung, Grace O’Keefe, Christine Sorrels, and Emma Parker.

The top JV relay team placed 4^th out of 47 teams.  The relay team members were Alex Davey, Amy Li, Emily Nelson, and Olivia Aasheim. Yay cross country!

FCA is having our first huddle meeting of the year- Tuesday August 30th from 7 to 8 at 7203 Colgate. The famous Coach Eason will be speaking!! Come out for food, fun and fellowship!

The Running Scots competed in the Greenhill/Luke’s Locker 6-Mile Relay on Saturday at Norbuck Park.  Two varsity teams ran in the 6A-5A division finishing 17^th, and 24^thoverall with finishing times of 31:30 and 32:49 respectively.  The Junior Varsity fielded four teams.  JVA finished 11^th overall with a time of 34:40.  The team will compete this Saturday at the Marcus I meet at North Lakes Park in Denton.  Go Running Scots!
