Attention All Club presidents: There is a mandatory meeting Thursday morning at 7:30 in the Auditorium to discuss Club Day. If your club is not represented, you cannot participate in Club Day and you will lose club status.

Student Council would like to encourage everyone to join us by bringing your own water bottle from home. There are 7 water fountains with water bottle fillers and filtration. Let’s do our part to make HP greener.

At each home football game this fall, Nick & Sam’s will sponsor a Field Goal kicking competition for HPHS seniors.  One senior will be announced at the pep rally on Fridays of each home game.  Seniors can sign-up in Mr. Heckman’s office.  The senior chosen will have 1 chance to make a field goal at the end of halftime.  If the kick is made, the senior will receive a $250 scholarship toward their college expenses.  If the kick is missed, the senior will receive a $100 restaurant gift card.

A few reminders about parking and the garage:

1. Only park in your assigned spot.
2. If you want a different spot do not give, trade or sell your spot to someone.  Come to Mr. Heckmann’s office and he will help you.
3. The entire garage is one way.  Please do not drive the wrong way on a ramp or on one of the garage levels.

“The Highland Park Jazz Band is seeking new members to join this season.  The Jazz Band meets once week after school and plays everything from funk, blues, rock, latin and swing.  If you have experience playing guitar, bass guitar or piano and are looking to join, see Mr. Parks in the band hall this week.”
