Disneyland adventures

One of the most magical places on the Earth

Disneyland+adventures

Disneyland is often advertised as one of the most magical places in the world, and this statement is certainly not wrong. From eight in the morning to late at night, the fun at Disneyland literally never stops. When we got to the park on our final day in Los Angeles, we were given “park hopper” passes. These passes are designed to allow you to travel between Disneyland and California Adventure.

For those who might not know, California Adventure is more of a rides based park. One of the more popular rides is Mission: OUTBREAK! which is a Guardians of the Galaxy themed exhibit. If you are looking for a ride that is more of a thrill, then this might be one for you. If you are wary about this sort of thing then I would follow with words of caution: 1.) the line can be at least an hour long at some parts of the day, and 2.) motion sickness is definitely a thing. If neither of these things bother you, then you are in for a wild adventure.

The group that I traveled around with spent more time in Disneyland than anywhere else. We saw the castle and Kylo Ren and even went on a jungle tour that was almost attacked by elephants! The jungle tour was a lot of fun, and there was a small gift shop nearby (in fact, when you go to Disney, there is a themed gift shop in all of the different areas) and found an adorable elephant keychain. This sort of ride is perfect for small kids and parents who want to have fun but don’t necessarily want to hit up any roller coasters.

If you are looking for a roller coaster than I can give you some advice. There are several rides that are like roller coasters but don’t have the fast and jerking motions. These include the Haunted Mansion and the Indiana Jones rides. These are fast paced and fun for all ages. However, if you are feeling really adventurous, then there are rides for you. First is Big Thunder Mountain. This one is out in the open and the cart is in the form of a train. Its fast, but not too wild that someone like me, who does not like roller coasters, would say no to.

The second one that is a big attraction at Disneyland is Space Mountain. This ride is entirely in the dark and definitely not for someone who does not like bright flashing lights and not being able to see where you are going. I myself did not really enjoy this one because of the things I listed above. Sadly, I will admit that it made me nauseous and almost unable to walk due to my legs shaking very badly. The rest of my group however will tell you that Space Mountain is a really fun ride and that they would for sure do it again, but I will let you decide on that one.

And finally, for the big finale, what better way to end your day than by watching Disneyland’s famous fireworks display. I can honestly say that I have never seen something as spectacular and mind blowing as this magnificent work of art. It’s hard to imagine the thousands of hours that went into preparation for this every night. Disney is one of those places that you don’t ever want to leave, but the memories that are made here never will leave you. No matter what types of things you enjoy or how much of a thrill seeker you are, Disneyland has something for everyone. Where will your adventure begin?
