Ketchup in the right place

Where your ketchup should be in relation to your fries

Ketchup in the right place

They come in all shapes and sizes. They range in color from a warm golden brown to a soggy banana yellow. They go along perfectly with a burger or hot dog, though I have seen a case or two of them being served with steak or something else that can be priced at the expense. I’m talking about lovely french fries, most people know and love them. What I like is the variety of way that the food can be prepared. It ranges from the classic deep-fried, long and thinly sliced fries covered in salt to truffle style or cheese fries which are some of my personal favorites. Nothing goes better with the starchy lengths than some melted cheese, bacon and ranch. Now everyone in their own right can dress their fries up however they wish unless it has to do with the comment ketchup. Ketchup should be left as a side and not drenched merely over the fries.

First, I think that one of the worst types of fries is soggy fries. Soggy fries to me have always looked sad to me. It is as if the french fry life has been driven from the single innocent fry. Also, soggy fries in no way taste good. They are overly moist and limp which makes for a rather unpleasant french fry experience. Even when you spot the soggy fry before you almost eat it, the chip is then cast aside and left to rot and take up space on your plate directly. This can be avoided by merely putting ketchup on the side and dipping the fry into the condemned.

Second, nothing is better than the perfect amount of ketchup, or any type of comment for the matter. When the salsa is simply singled all other a person’s fries, then it caused instability and consisted of ketchup distribution. What I find happens is that the top of the fries, if too much is added, start to become soggy making them less appearing. Then the layer under the topped one has next to no ketchup on it at all. Which to come people might not seem like no big deal, but I think it becomes a bit of a problem because after a while it will look like you are simply hogging all the ketchup which is something that no one ever wants to be labeled. So, in short, keep your ketchup next to your fries and not on them.
