Announcements: April 28, 2017

For AP econ exam tutorials – Please see flyers posted in your Government or APUSH classroom.

I bet you’re sick of hearing about community service hours being due no later than 11:59pm on Sunday, April 30th.  Guess what? We’re sick of saying it. So, let’s end this together (seniors), by getting your hours submitted on the CSC database as soon as possible.  The sooner all seniors have their required hours submitted and approved, the sooner this repetitive and annoying announcement will end. Please…just make this announcement go away!

Attention Rho Kappa Members: If you are interested in running for a Rho Kappa officer position for the 2017-2018 school year, stop by either Mrs. Patterson or Ms. Karr’s room to pick up an application today.

Are you looking for some Friday night entertainment and the chance to sing along with some of your favorite songs, old and NEW???  Then plan to attend “I HEART RADIO” – the Spring Concert presented by the HPHS Choral Department next Friday night May 5th.  This concert is like none you have ever seen before, complete with costumes, choreography, and the chance to sing and dance with us in the aisles!  The show will feature ALL HPHS choirs performing pieces from “My Girl” and “Don’t Stop Believing” to Ed Sheeren’s “Photograph” and Bruno Mars “Treasure”.  Seniors will take the stage for the last time and be honored during a senior tribute!  We look forward to seeing a packed auditorium ready to have some fun at 6:30 p.m. on Friday May 5th!

Teachers and students, The Library Media Center will be closed from 8am on during the 2 weeks of AP testing from Monday, May 1, through Friday, May 12. It will be open from 7am to 8am only during this time. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Seniors please check your student emails for information on the senior survey to have your vote be included in the senior issue of the Bagpipe! Come to the newspaper room (EC212) if you have any questions or troubles accessing the survey.
